We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Sourcing Process and Data for our Sourcing Development team in Kemira’s Operations unit.
Operations unit strengthens Kemira’s operational backbone by optimizing supply chain performance and driving cost efficiency. The unit supports business growth across all segments, enabling business units to focus on delivering their commercial strategies.
Sourcing organization in the Operations unit is responsible for global strategic spend management, covering supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and relationship management. Sourcing drives cost competitiveness, service performance, and supply security, working closely with Procurement to ensure efficient and compliant purchasing execution. The Source to Pay process and development team focuses to ensure that the source-to-pay related processes, tools and people are aligned globally.
This position is based in Helsinki, Finland.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Supporting both sourcing and source-to-pay (S2P) process development on
- maintaining & cleaning supplier masterdata
- collecting, monitoring and maintaining supplier compliance information
- supporting in analytics development in the sourcing area
- supporting in RFx template standardization and creation
What you’ll bring to the team:
• University studies in relevant field, e.g. Business, Supply Chain management, Engineering or other relevant field
• Quick learner with the hands-on attitude
• A proactive mindset and curiosity to explore and utilize digital tools
• Good collaboration and team-working skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Fluent English
• Technical understanding on SQL and SAP are seen as a plus
• Previous experience on sourcing or procurement processes is seen as a plus
