About the Role

Description

Five Nines Marketing Interns are responsible for the coordination of the marketing activities and initiatives of Five Nines. They develop content in alignment with brand standards across a variety of mediums to drive business goals and provide clear and consistent communication among our clients and team. They represent Five Nines during company events and in partnerships with local organizations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  

50% - Content Marketing

  • Create professional promotional materials, client deliverables and internal documents in alignment with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, internal and external sources of subject matter expertise to build accurate, informational written articles for newsletters, blogs, and other external communications.
  • Assist with social media content and strategy to drive needed results for business growth and brand recognition.


25% - Supply Management and Event Coordination

  • Manage relationships and commitments to partner and client/community organizations, including event participation, sponsorship coordination, and content 
  • Local Charity / Association Event Participation & Representation
  • Schedule and communicate internal participation 
  • Assist with shipping & transport of events materials
  • Assist with setup and onsite management of events as-needed
  • Asset or content allocation for partner luncheons, email newsletters, etc.
  • Participate in Marketing Calendar Management

15% - Marketing Department Projects

  • Complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform projects and upkeep.
  • Upkeep of Marketing Calendar and internal resource scheduling.
  • Manage inventory of marketing assets and coordinate their use.

10% - Internal Processes, Documentation, Audits and Standards

  • Participate in internal teams and initiatives as requested
  • Create internal processes, define standards, communicate and implement best practices
  • Attend required internal meetings and trainings

Requirements

In-Person Required Job Responsibilities: 


Social Media Management 

  • Onsite Social Media Management & photo-taking for Events, Work Activities in Kearney, Lincoln, and Omaha 

Marketing + Office Supply Management 

  • Lincoln Office or Omaha Storage Unit - Marketing 
  • Asset Management & Inventory 
  • Assist with ordering & upkeep of marketing-managed office materials 

Events Management 

  • Shipping & Transport of Events Materials 
  • Local Client / Charity Event Representation & Attendance 

Remote-Compatible Job Responsibilities: 

  • Marketing Content Creation 
  • Working with FN engineers, sales to identify timely content topics “They Ask, We Answer” 
  • Content drafting, review, and editing with SMEs + Marketing leadership 
  • Drafting of PDF assets using branded templates 
  • Email drafting for campaigns 
  • Asset drafting for campaigns (CTAs, link feature images, etc.) 

CRM Maintenance 

  • Quarterly Company/Contact De-Duplication 
  • Prospect List Review & Cleanup 
  • System upkeep (blog, forms, landing pages) 

Events & Community Sponsorships 

  • Partner & Community Event Coordination: registration, asset allocation, team attendance, registration, travel planning, and communication with Event POC
  • Asset or content allocation for partner luncheons, email newsletters, etc. 
  • Marketing Calendar Upkeep

Education and Experience Preferred 

  • Working towards Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field
  • Previous experience in event coordination
  • Previous experience in managing business relationships
  • Previous experience in content creation both visually and written
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
