  This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a AI  intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We’re driving the company’s digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies.   What You Will Do:    

• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA and other development team members
• Implementation, deployment and maintenance of cloud-based system and AI related projects based on requirements, ensuring code quality and performance optimization
• Pair-work with QA to refine requirements, deliver demo to business
• Learn and implement best practices in coding and design, and keep up on the latest developments with Java, database and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS
• Use AI development tools like Github Copilot to improve development efficiency, write MCP services based on business and development requirements
• Paper reading & new tech exploring

• Education and Preferred Qualifications:  

  Candidates should be:  

• Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation 
• Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization 
• Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment 
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement 
• Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas 

• Certification nice to haves:

• B.S. Computer Science/Engineering or related fields

• Core Competencies:  

  Candidates should exhibit working knowledge of the following key skills and proficiencies:   

• Programming skills in Python
• Some understanding of how LLMs works
• High interest in AI
