About the role:
As an Instrumentation and Controls Projects Intern, you will report to the Senior Director Management and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and troubleshooting of fuel manufacturing sites
- Work with Engineering Mentor to develop skills for Safety Basis in a Nuclear
- Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear manufacturing facilities
- Develop and maintain a business relationship with internal and external Westinghouse customers
- Develop specifications for replacement parts in the manufacturing environment
- Follow plant standards for design and implementation of projects
- PLC code review, programming, optimization, and visualization – Allen Bradley and GE
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or business
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
