About the Role

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our team. In this role, you will work with various systems and tools to maintain accurate data, audit client account records, and assist with reporting and documentation. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure smooth workflows. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and build a solid understanding of business processes in a professional environment.


  

Responsibilities 

  • Utilize various systems and tools, perform research, and assist with data gathering as needed.
  • Learn the Salesforce platform and develop a working knowledge of tools. 
  • Audit client account records. 
  • Complete tasks for maintaining data used by the company.
  • Maintain documents, spreadsheets, databases, or related items.
  • Follow established procedures.
  • Participate in business unit/practice group training designed to help this position acquire applicable knowledge/skills in their area of study.
  • Complete tasks that are conducive to learning the business procedures and applying industry/field best practices.
  • Communicate with stakeholders of the company.
  • Create, present, and/or report on area statistics and/or knowledge acquired.
  • Assist team members with everyday tasks, gaining an understanding of business operations and workflow.
  • Complete other assigned area-related tasks as directed.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities 

  • Academic knowledge or introductory experience in one or more functional or technical areas, including but not limited to, finance, purchasing, customer relationship management, accounting, billing/invoicing, payroll
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite computer software. (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce experience is ideal.
  • Availability to work onsite a maximum of 3 days/week, and a total of 4-8 hours worked, within standard business hours, during the school term.
  • Flexible scheduling to work up to 40 hours/week within standard business hours, over extended breaks from school.
  • Work in the Lincoln, Nebraska office 
  • No travel is required for this role.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • High attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organization and time management skills to work in an independent environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools.
  • May have prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Education & Experience 

  • Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a university undergraduate program.
  • Pursuing degree(s) in Business Administration 
  • One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
