About the Role
<p>We are excited to have an <strong>Experiential Production intern</strong> join our team for the summer from June 2 - August 7! This role will work alongside our Production team on experiential projects in our New York office. This person must be organized, self-motivated, able to think creatively and quickly, and process-oriented. This role will support the Experiential team, known for large-scale immersive experiences, stunts, pop-ups and everything in between. While the role will have many administrative tasks, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn all sides of production by supporting project teams and getting hands-on experience.</p>
<p>As a Giant Spoon intern, you will be welcome to join any town halls, weekly updates, lunches and happy hours during the summer. As part of the program, we will also be offering a series of workshops and Q&As with craft leads to gain insights into the day to day of neighboring departments.</p>
<p>This team is based in the New York office and works in a hybrid fashion with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support the completion of team projects by assisting the lead Producer(s) on tasks such as:
<ul>
<li>Researching, sourcing, and securing venues and vendors, event staff, catering, etc.</li>
<li>Sourcing and purchasing of anything from props to furniture to supplies</li>
<li>Aid in the creation of production schedules and project trackers</li>
<li>Help maintain budget detail and track receipts</li>
<li>Contributing to decks for Venues, Brand Ambassadors, Production Planning, and Health & Safety</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to Experiential Production teams, including but not limited to:<br>
<ul>
<li>Help coordinating vendor agreements and contracts</li>
<li>Creating POs, tracking and processing vendor payments </li>
<li>Organizing and maintaining the experiential storage unit</li>
<li>Maintaining master lists/trackers (venues, vendors, etc)</li>
<li>Support teams on job reconciliations at the close of projects</li>
</ul>

<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Pursuing a career in marketing, advertising, events, media, or related field</li>
<li>Inherent desire to learn more about production and experiential execution</li>
<li>Experience in events/experiential a plus (this can be classwork, internships, volunteer work or jobs)</li>
<li>Strong organization, interpersonal and project management skills</li>
<li>Experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets)</li>
<li>Experience with file management and project management platforms preferred</li>
<li>Open to travel and weekend work as necessary, as most of our activations happen outside of regular office hours</li>
</ul>
<p>The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $18.00 - $20.00.
