This role will be performed onsite in the Chicago office.


Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking a Summer Investment Management Analyst who is passionate about pursuing a career in private equity real estate and excited to support AJCP’s rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work closely with the Investments, Asset Management, Capital Markets, and Finance teams on special projects, including the evaluation of new investments and property financings and the monitoring of on-going asset-level and fund-level performance
  • Interact with the development teams and various functions to understand budgeting and contracting
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed capital events to fund performance (e.g., CapEx projects, asset dispositions, alterations to development plans, financing activity, etc.)
  • Conduct competitive market research to support emerging platforms and create and maintain market research-oriented dashboards and databases 
  • Support the creation of materials and presentations for executive review, including presentations used for investment committee approvals and quarterly and annual investor reporting of AJCP's active investment vehicles

  • Ability to synthesize research and data analysis and communicate conclusions effectively
  • Highly-motivated, organized, disciplined and self-directed individual who is eager to learn, deals well with ambiguity at times, and can multi-task efficiently

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Working towards a bachelors' degree in finance, economics, or real estate with an anticipated graduate date of Winter 2026 to Spring 2027
  • Ability to navigate various computer applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel) and aptitude to quickly learn other applications

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensations for roles that will be performed in Illinois. The pay listed represents the hourly pay rate for AJCP’s investment internship positions. Pay: $35/hr. In addition, we provide a monthly housing stipend and paid summer holidays.
