About the Role

Copart is seeking a SRE Intern with a background in Automation and Python Scripting. This position will be part of a 24/7 Global Network Operations team that includes monitoring and providing L1/L2 support to Copart's global infrastructure that includes systems, database, networking, and security.  

  

Requirements: 

  • Adept in working knowledge using Linux/Unix based systems with some familiarity in Windows OS.  
  • Adept in Basic scripting/programming/automation methodologies that include Python, PHP, CLI, Ansible 
  • Familiar with front end scripting languages, libraries, and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, Flask 
  • Familiar with APM, NPM, and Infrastructure Monitoring tools - New Relic, Datadog, Instana, Prometheus, and Grafana.   
  • Be flexible and be able to manage competing and change priorities. 
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills. Documentation expertise a plus. 
  • Self-managing with a good sense and ability to work well in a team environment.
