Team Overview
If you are passionate about data, business, and problem-solving, DiDi invites you to join the Safety & Quality team for Spanish-Speaking Latin America as a Data & Insights Intern.
Our team uses data analysis and business insights to support initiatives that improve how safety is experienced on DiDi’s ride-hailing platform. As an intern, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting regional and global projects while developing your analytical and professional skills.
Role Responsibilities
- Thinking creatively on how to use data to optimize the functioning of different strategies around Safety in the platform, some including AI or ML models, with the goal of generating insights and new ideas to enhance incidents prevention supported by data analysis.
- Helping to develop and execute a comprehensive projects of user's perception for all Spanish Speaking Countries, obtaining the buy-in of all relevant stakeholders including managers, business, and marketing teams.
- Using data to build meaningful insights and understanding of our incidents prevention processes, as well as to understand users’ experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Working cross-functionally and globally with other teams across Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, and others.
Role Qualifications
- Enrolled in Engineering, Business, Economics, Computer science or any related bachelor’s degree.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Intermediate level of programming in one or more languages, e.g., Python/ R.
- Problem-solving skills and are skilled in data analytics that lead to data-driven decision making.
- Curiosity to learn, ask questions, and understand the “why” behind the data.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
- A growth mindset, sense of responsibility, and interest in personal development.
- Mission-driven entrepreneurship and strong team spirit!
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
