The Market Intelligence and Insights Team wants to see the financial services industry (specifically; the asset and wealth management, FinTech, banking and capital markets, and other sectors) across Asia-Pacific (“APAC”) thrive, and the composite firms, investors, regulators, and other players in the ecosystem reach their goals and objectives. We leverage data, commentary, contacts, and our internal analysis to formulate unique and critical viewpoints on the financial services industry in APAC to help financial entities and other players reach their objectives.

Our team provides clients with the market intelligence and insights to drive their business success, helps set the direction and strategy of firms, and assists in charting the course of the industry by creating and disseminating thought leadership and other publications to the market.

Internally, we act as a Centre-of-Excellence for the PwC Network, providing support and assistance to teams across the world so that they may assist and fulfil their client's needs better.

We are seeking suitable interns with relevant attributes, attitude, and outlook to join our team to assist in delivering across our broad range of projects, and help in the growth and development of the unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyse relevant qualitative and quantitative data

  • Monitor latest industry trends, developments, and insights

  • Design market studies, surveys, competitors and products analysis

  • Structure and write comprehensive reports on given research topics

  • Prepare presentations for internal and external use

  • Understand the legal and regulatory environment of financial services industry

  • Develop a point of view on the challenges and the opportunities related to specific themes in the financial services industry

  • Supervision and coordination of internal and external projects.

Requirements:

  • Business or Accountancy students from local/overseas universities

  • Are keen to develop themselves in the profession

  • Are highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative

  • Have a good co-curricular activities record

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Are service-oriented and committed to teamwork and excellence
