Job Description

  • You analyze data sets (e.g., point-of-sale and pricing data) to assess quality and suitability for demand forecasting.
  • Furthermore, you prepare and clean data for use in forecasting models (using tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks).
  • You support us in testing and evaluating different demand forecasting models.
  • Last but not least, you create reports and dashboards to compare model performance using Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or comparable with a focus on data analysis and programming
  • Experience and Knowledge: first experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau); programming skills, ideally in Python; experience with Azure and Databricks, as well as basic knowledge of machine learning models or time-series forecasting are a plus
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a proactive, curious person with strong analytical thinking
  • Enthusiasm: you enjoy working independently and as part of a team
  • Languages: very good in English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
