About the Role
<div class="content-intro"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.</span></p>

This role will be based at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. </p>
<p>Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience on aircraft system development, testing, and certification within the Fly-by-Wire team. The intern will be working in both office and laboratory environments, supporting development and testing activities of the Flight Control Computer Subsystem (FCCS) and Side Stick Subsystem (SSS). </p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work in the Validation and Verification (V&V) activities (following SAE ARP-4754A based processes) of the Flight Control Computer Subsystem (FCCS) and Side Stick Subsystem (SSS) </li>
<li>Prepare, review, or revise technical documentation, including equipment and system level specifications, analysis, test plan, procedures, and reports.</li>
<li>Engage actively in problem-solving efforts, offering innovative solutions and troubleshooting issues as they come up.</li>
<li>Research key engineering topics, analyze data, and present insights to inform project decisions.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Going into the 2nd or 3rd year in college career</li>
<li>Familiarization with signal processing, data analysis, electronics, microprocessor or microcontroller, and software.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Effective communication and teamwork abilities.</li>
<li>Able to commit to a 10 week internship. </li>

<li>This internship is a part of a 10-week full-time summer internship program opportunity. Program dates are:</li>
<ul>
<li>May 26, 2026 - July 31, 2026</li>
<li>June 15, 2026 - August 21, 2026</li>
<ul>
<li>*We will not be able to accommodate interns outside of these two program dates.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<li>This role will be based at Archer HQ located in San Jose, CA</li>
<li>Relocation and housing will not be provided.</li>
</ul>
