About the Role

About our group:

The Operations and Strategy Management (OSM) team leads the AI Space initiative by integrating AI and machine learning into our manufacturing processes to create smarter, data-driven operations. We guide the adoption of SAFe Agile and DevOps practices within global MES development teams and are focused on advancing AI/ML innovations to support our vision for continuous improvement.

The team builds strong foundations for service management and champions Agile methodologies as Release Train Engineers (RTEs), promoting Agile principles throughout the organization. The OSM team manages both on-premises and cloud-based development environments and embraces new technologies, including DevOps CI/CD pipelines, which are essential for deploying AI/ML models efficiently.

Through these efforts, the OSM team drives innovation and agility, empowering teams to deliver results quickly and sustainably while advancing the adoption of AI/ML solutions across our company.

About the role - you will:

As an intern, you will receive mentorship from experienced IT and AI/ML professionals and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and practices. This role will provide opportunities to build skills, learn about innovative technologies, and contribute to impactful projects that shape our manufacturing operations.

  • Play a key role in enhancing Application Portfolio Management (APM) through Generative AI (GenAI), helping to improve resource allocation and support better decision-making across the organization.
  • Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources, including APM, Github, Tickets, Asset Management, Knowledge Base, and Jira, to increase transparency and streamline information flow for the team.
  • Automate selected workflows and provide actionable insights, enabling teams to work more efficiently and make informed decisions based on integrated data.
  • Implement guardrails and best practices to ensure that AI use remains secure, ethical, and compliant, helping protect both the organization and its data.
  • Experiment with prompt engineering and design context-aware queries to deliver accurate, reliable responses, supporting continuous improvement in AI-driven solutions.

About you:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with IT and AI/ML experts throughout the project.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies, including data visualization and integration platforms, will help you succeed in this role.
  • A genuine interest in how AI/ML can transform manufacturing processes will allow you to make meaningful contributions and grow professionally.

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of web development, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI concepts and agentic development.
  • Proficiency in Python and an understanding of frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
  • Ability to work with APIs, perform data integration, and execute SQL or data queries.
  • Strong analytical skills and the drive to learn about complex enterprise systems.
