We are seeking Engineering Students for our Winnipeg District, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 6 months starting in May 2026, with a possibility of extension depending on performance and project student needs.  

 

Here's how an Engineering Student for our Winnipeg office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating work specific scopes & trades
  • Participating in project meetings
  • Inputting and updating deficiency logs
  • Taking progress photographs using 360 cameras
  • Updating field drawings
  • Producing as-built drawings
  • Performing quantity takeoffs
  • Verifying site conditions by coordinating with drawings
  • Supervising sub-trade work
  • Setting-up / Maintaining record keeping
  • Layout site lines and grades using total station
  • Creating and maintaining graphical schedules
  • Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades
  • Monitoring workforce productivity

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
