About this role: 

Internships at ConnectOne Bank provide a paid working experience to college students in a variety of departments within the organization. Each summer the internship experience is unique. Interns work within individual departments but are also asked to work on projects. 

This internship provides an overview of careers in the banking field. 

Highlights from previous summers:

• Interns will be participating in various networking events throughout the summer. 
• Interns participated in "Departmental Overview and Interview” sessions including a variety of business and development topics.
• Interns participated in community service by working with CNOB partnered Not-for-Profit organizations.

Interns on our Retail Operations team will gain the following experience:

• Shadow and work with Retail Cash Handling with exposure to; review of teller difference reports, branch cash limits, and ATM cash monitoring, 
• Shadow Retail Banking Analyst and receive exposure and support in procedural writing, review and updating
• Assisting in current Retail Projects

The Summer 2026 Internship Program will run from May 28th, 2026, through August 7th, 2026. In order to get the most out of the internship experience, attendance is important. This position is full time and 40 hours or more weekly. Travel to the branches, corporate offices and community events will be required. 

Our Retail Operations internship will be held in our Englewood Cliffs, NJ location.
