Software Engineeer Internship

<p>Praxis is an AI engineering and systems consulting practice focused on building practical, outcome-driven AI solutions for real businesses. We work at the intersection of engineering, operations, and decision-making — turning complex problems into deployable systems.</p> <p>As an <strong>AI Engineering Intern</strong>, you’ll work directly with experienced practitioners on live client work. This isn’t a classroom or a simulated program. You’ll contribute to real architectures, workflows, and implementations — learning how AI systems are designed, evaluated, and shipped in production environments.</p> <p>You’ll gain hands-on exposure to:</p> <ul> <li>AI-driven workflow design and automation</li> <li>Engineering trade-offs, constraints, and system thinking</li> <li>Translating business problems into technical solutions</li> <li>Building, testing, and refining AI-enabled systems</li> </ul> <p>Praxis is a small, focused team. That means high ownership, fast learning, and direct feedback. You’ll be expected to think clearly, ask good questions, and take responsibility for your work — with strong support from people who care about doing things properly.</p> <p>If you’re technically curious, disciplined, and serious about building real skills in AI engineering — not just theory — Praxis offers a place to learn by doing.</p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications to enhance the company&#39;s online presence and service offerings.</li> <li>Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test software solutions that align with the company&#39;s core values and business goals.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding practices by providing constructive feedback and suggestions.</li> <li>Research and implement new technologies or tools that can improve the efficiency and functionality of existing systems.</li> <li>Support the debugging and resolution of software defects, ensuring a high level of product quality and reliability.</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Part time - 15-20 hours per week</li> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>No expereicne reuqired</li> <li>Must have degree in computer engineering/science</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and accountable workplace.</li> <li>Eagerness to learn and contribute to projects with boldness and creativity.</li> </ul>
