2026 Summer Internship

General Description of Position
We are seeking motivated college students to participate in our paid 2026 Summer Internship Program, This in office opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience in the health insurance industry. This general internship allows students to explore different areas of the organization based on their interests, skills, and business needs.

Interns will gain exposure to business operations, departmental priorities, and day-to-day workflows while working closely with experienced professionals. Participants will contribute to meaningful projects that support our mission of delivering simple and worry-free experiences for our members, physicians, and associates.

During the application process, candidates will have the opportunity to indicate areas of interest to help align placement within the organization.

Program Duration

  • 8-week program
  • In office during internship

 Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and project initiatives.
  • Assist with department-specific tasks such as data analysis, research, customer support, or administrative   duties.
  • Collaborate with team members and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conduct research and assist with preparing summaries or presentations for department leadership.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and workflow efficiencies.
  • Work with department leaders to complete assigned projects within established timelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations.

 Required Skills or Training

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in healthcare, insurance, or corporate operations is a plus.

Education/Certification/Licensure
 • Current college student pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university

Minimum Physical Requirements
 • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer.
 • Ability to perform routine office activities, including reaching, bending, and light movement as needed
