Life Time is looking for a summer intern in their Development and Fixed Asset Accounting Group. This internship will work closely with the Senior Manager for project and various duties. Some of these include depreciation expense calculations, additions and disposal maintenance in FAS and Workday, company and general ledger account reclasses, equipment allocations, maintaining project files, updating project forecasts and ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducts a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
  • Works cross-functionally with teams to execute strategies to meet business needs
  • Helps improve administration procedures
  • Observes multiple office positions and trains in a variety of tasks
  • Attends company meetings and functions as needed
  • Assists in other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Performs critical monthly/quarterly close tasks 
  • Performs account reconciliations
  • Researches and corrects account discrepancies
  • Provides monthly reporting
  • Responds to ad hoc requests
  • Supports ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

Education:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program
  • Currently maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.75 and pays up to $24.00, based on experience and qualifications.
