We are seeking a Software Development Intern to join our Client and Partner Integration team support the enhancement of our Transportation API, handling incoming client requests. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to Intelcom’s growth within a dynamic agile squad working on software infrastructure to maintain and enhance our services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of our API using Python and AWS.

• Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the system.

• Support the deployment of software updates and the maintenance of system performance.

• The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in Python.

• Knowledge of additional programming languages, including C# and Java, is an asset.

• Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.

• Strong understanding of data structures.

• Experience designing and implementing databases.

• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
