<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>As a Summer Student for our company, you will have an opportunity to work with various animal health professionals in a business, clinical and research environment. Moreover, this is a great way to gain exposure to our Animal Health’s business offerings, providing valuable learning opportunities and exposure for young professionals with an interest in vector-borne disease in companion animal.</p><p></p><p><b>Summer Student, Scientific Marketing Affairs – Animal Health – Companion Animal</b></p><p>In this role your project would consist of:</p><ul><li><p>Participation in a research project in support of understanding vector-borne disease.</p></li><li><p>Engagement with our company’s project leader throughout the summer project.</p></li><li><p>Entering and analyzing data collected.</p></li><li><p>Preparing a report to be presented to our company’s Animal Health and partner and/or a relevant local/provincial association.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Interest in vector-borne disease.</p></li><li><p>Full-time veterinary student at the Atlantic Vet College in Prince Edward Island (project location Nova Scotia)</p></li><li><p>Must be available for summer student mandate from mid-May to mid-August.</p></li><li><p>Able to comply with biosecurity protocols and local public health requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.</p></li><li><p>Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s license.</p></li><li><p>Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).</p></li><li><p>Fluency in French is required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required field of study:</b></p><ul><li><p>Veterinary Medicine.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Application Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Upload a copy of your official (or unofficial) transcript.</p></li><li><p>Upload proof of enrollment for the Fall 2026 semester.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
