Studio Munge is a leading design firm specializing in luxury hospitality and residential projects. As part of our commitment to nurturing talent, we are excited to offer an internship opportunity for an aspiring accounting professional to join our dynamic and creative team.


We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to support our finance department. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting functions within a fast-paced, design-oriented environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and administrative duties.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management and payment tracking.
  • Help in the reconciliation of accounts and the maintenance of financial records.
  • Participate in audits and help ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for design and interest in the creative industry is a bonus.
