This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial closing procedures, including reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting. The Finance Intern will assist in ensuring that all financial records are accurate and complete for the fiscal year-end.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Account Reconciliation:<span> Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank statements, ledgers, and subsidiary accounts, to ensure all financial records are accurate.</span></p></li><li><p>Audit Preparation:<span> Support the preparation of documents and schedules required for internal and external audits.</span></p></li><li><p>Journal Entries:<span> Help in preparing and entering adjusting journal entries related to year-end closing.</span></p></li><li><p>Data Verification:<span> Review and verify the accuracy of financial data, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.</span></p></li><li><p>Financial Reporting:<span> Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</span></p></li><li><p>Accruals and Provisions:<span> Assist in calculating and recording accruals, provisions, and other year-end adjustments.</span></p></li><li><p>Fixed Assets Management:<span> Support the review and reconciliation of fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording of depreciation and asset disposals.</span></p></li><li><p>Compliance:<span> Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.</span></p></li><li><p>Documentation:<span> Organize and maintain financial records and documentation related to the year-end closing process.</span></p></li><li><p>Ad Hoc Support:<span> Provide additional support on various year-end tasks and projects as needed by the finance team.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>Education:<span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</span></li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li><span>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting software.</span></li><li><span>Basic understanding of accounting principles and year-end closing processes.</span></li><li><span>Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</span></li></ul><p>Experience:<span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Previous experience or coursework in accounting, finance, or audit support is beneficial but not required.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Learning Outcomes:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Gain practical experience in year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop a deeper understanding of accounting practices, reconciliations, and audit preparation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Learn how to manage and verify financial data in a professional setting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Enhance your ability to work collaboratively under deadlines in a finance team.</span></p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br> <b>We are all different</b> - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
