A day in the life of an HR Communication intern 

 

  • You’ll contribute to the development and delivery of internal communications campaigns and initiatives related to HR topics. Sometimes targeting more than 5000 people. 

  • You’ll sharpen your copywriting skills: you’ll write for the intranet, the HR newsletter, ING Belgium’s LinkedIn account and create copy for Employer Branding social media ads. 

  • You’ll analyse the impact of communication campaigns

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student in Communications, Marketing or Modern Languages 

  • You are interested in people topics and enjoy diving into subjects like workplace culture, employee wellbeing, and human connection, always eager to make a positive difference 

  • You speak French and/or Dutch and are fluent in English 

  • You have excellent writing skills, are organised, creative and a real team player 

 

As an HR Communication Intern, you will have the opportunity to: 

 

  • Get a hands-on experience of HR Communication and Employer Branding in a fast-paced and varied environment. 

  • The tasks/projects you might work on include (among others): 

  • Coordinating an internal newsletter 

  • Copywriting internal news articles and organic/paid LinkedIn posts 

  • Supporting in the development of internal and external communication projects and campaigns 

  • Analysing communication performances 

 

The team 

You’ll join a close-knit HR Communication team, where 5 creative minds collaborate to shape impactful campaigns across a wide spectrum of HR topics; from learning and wellbeing to rewards and recognition, and everything in between. 

In addition to internal communication, the team is also in charge of Employer Branding and (co)manages ING Belgium’s LinkedIn account, career website and the launch of standout Employer Branding campaigns that attract top talent and showcase our vibrant culture.
