About The Company
Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) was established by local physicians who felt that hospital care should return to focusing on the needs of the patient. This vision created a hospital that provides the patient with outstanding medical quality in an environment of personalized service. This patient-doctor relationship is the cornerstone to delivering the patient the best possible medical care, while our approach to detail allows the patient and their guests to receive a convenient and comfortable hospital experience.
About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to spend the summer working as an intern for the only 5-star rated hospital in Tulsa? The OSH Internship aims to provide students interested in healthcare careers the opportunity to gain practical experience while offering valuable exposure to a healthcare setting. The program lasts approximately 8 weeks - beginning June 1st and ending July 24th. Interns work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and are placed in both clinical and non-clinical departments throughout OSH. This can include Surgery, PACU, Inpatient, Guest Services, Sterile Processing, the Warehouse, etc. Flexibility in area is essential. You must submit a complete application to be considered. This is a paid internship, $12/hr.

Clinical departments are deemed safety sensitive and incumbents must be able to clear a pre-employment drug screening.

Applicants will be notified via email if accepted or not accepted by the end of April at the latest. Please continue to watch your email.

OSH and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.

Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), a safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position. This statute allows employers to lawfully refuse to hire applicants for safety-sensitive jobs or to discipline or discharge employees who work in safety-sensitive jobs if they test positive for marijuana, even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
