About Us:
NEWITY LLC is a leading lending service provider dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized businesses through financing solutions. We offer a collaborative, dynamic environment where interns can gain valuable insights into financial analysis, lending practices, and industry best practices. 


Role Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented Financial Analyst Interns to join us for a 10-week program this summer. As a financial analyst intern you will be placed with one of our teams to support key initiatives, learn about the lending space, and develop key skills used in financial services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial industry and to learn more about commercial lending in a fintech environment. 


Responsibilities will include things like:  

  • Assisting team members in forecasting and reporting efforts. 
  • Assist with the maintenance and management of existing loan portfolios. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business performance and prepare reports. 
  • Assist in the loan underwriting process 
  • Participate in research and analysis of market trends and industry benchmarks. 

Requirements


  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Interest in lending and finance, with a strong commitment to learning and growth. 
  • Must be able to work in the office for the entirety of the 10-week program
