About the Role

Major League Baseball’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in sports with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations of baseball. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments, information sessions hosted by MLB senior management, and various developmental events. The Baseball Operations Department is responsible for overseeing and administering all on-field and rules components of MLB. The Baseball Operations Department consists of several groups, including Amateur, Baseball Economics, Draft Operations, Medical, Minor Leagues, On-Field Operations, Player Programs, Transactions, and Umpiring.
