Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We’re looking for an Actuarial Analyst - 4 Month Co-op (Summer 2026 or Fall 2026) for our growing team!

What you'll do here:

  • Process, validate and analyze statistical data and produce reports to be used as a basis for actuarial work or for meeting specific business needs.
  • Participate in the various activities specific to the work team (product pricing, production analyses, provisions, financial forecasting, etc.) by applying standard actuarial principles.
  • Produce computer reports and make improvements as needed using various programs and software (SAS, R, Python, SQL, VBA, Excel and Access).
  • Share knowledge and explain basic actuarial principles to peers.

What you bring to the table:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s, if applicable) in actuarial sciences, mathematics, statistics, finance or economics, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for Summer 2026 (May to August) or Fall 2026 (September to December)
  • Must be an actively enrolled student during your internship and/or returning to school in the semester following your internship
  • 1-2 CAS/SOA exams completed is considered an asset
  • Computer skills (SAS, VBA, R, Python) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills
