Job Summary & Essential Functions
Provide support and assistance to the Human Resources department.
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment including coordinating and scheduling interviews, pre-screening candidates, reviewing resumes and applications, preparing candidate packets, greeting, testing and checking in scheduled candidates
- Prepare onboarding materials including folders, badges, checklists, etc.
- Set up new hire profiles in HRIS system (ADP) and send new hire communications
- Assist with benefits administration and Payroll as needed
- Maintain files and reports to ensure all information is organized and current
- Perform general office work such as scanning, filing, faxing, copying and mail distribution; enter data into computer systems; assist others with computer usage for employment purposes
- Coordinate and track candidate drug screens and background tests
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- High level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency
- Problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Able to work with a high level of accuracy in a fast pace work environment
Required Experience & Education
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week (between the hours of 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday) if currently in school (40 hours are available to those graduated)
