What You'll Do

  • Provide assistance in areas assigned to produce tangible and measurable results on specific projects/assignments
  • Perform physical activities such as material handling and transporting materials throughout plant production areas
  • Complete a range of computer work including developing reports, designing presentations, and data entry
  • Report to and be mentored by respective Area Managers and Technical Assistants
  • Regularly participate in interdepartmental communication and teamwork
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area

What You'll Need

  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include 40 hour work weeks during summer (June-August)
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
  • Understanding of Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes
  • Use good decision making and problem solving skills to understand and meet customer expectations
  • Knowledge and or experience with data and metrics as it relates to their interpretation in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous internship experiences preferred
  • Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a business-related degree plan (Junior/Senior level preferred)
