About The Company
Fraunhofer IGD is the international leading institute for applied research in visual computing. Visual computing is image- and model-based information technology and includes computer graphics and computer vision, as well as virtual and augmented reality. In simple terms, the Fraunhofer researchers in Darmstadt, Rostock, and Kiel are turning information into images and extracting information from images. About the Role

At the Fraunhofer Institute of Electronic Nanosystems (ENAS), we are leveraging AI technologies to revolutionize semiconductor fabrication processes. Our mission is to develop robust data analysis tools that streamline and enhance semiconductor fabrication processes.

We are seeking a talented student to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data infrastructure. As we navigate the age of data and AI, the role of data infrastructure becomes increasingly pivotal. Your work will directly impact our ability to collect, analyze, and leverage data to drive innovation in semiconductor fabrication.

 

We are currently seeking candidates for Master's theses, internships, and student assistant positions. We can discuss our ideas together to find the right job for you.

 

What you contribute

  • Strong understanding and practical experience in software development and design.
  • Proficient in abstract and structural thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent programming skills, preferably with Python.
  • Still studying in Chemnitz, Mittweida or the surrounding area.
  • A grade point average of < 2 is preferred.
