About the role:

As an Operations Apprentice, you will support multiple departments as you are developed/qualified for advanced manufacturing roles that support company needs and your career goals. Possible areas of support may include electromechanical assembly/testing, metal fabrication/machining/welding, industrial painting, quality inspection, environmental/health/safety, CNC machine operation/programming and others.

 

This opportunity offers a 2026 summer apprenticeship, and the company requires you to be actively enrolled in an accredited post-secondary education program in a related field.

 

You will begin your apprenticeship journey by reporting to the QEHS Manager and be located at Shoreview, MN. You will support this role 100% onsite.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embrace an energetic training/qualification culture.
  • Exhibit high level of industrial safety characteristics.
  • Challenge yourself to develop knowledge and skill in multiple areas of advanced manufacturing.
  • You will be an introductory apprenticeship which will include working with and working in multiple disciplines supporting Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • We require enrollment in an accredited post-secondary education program in a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software products.
  • Proficiency in communicating and delivering commitments.
  • Frequently sit, stand, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs. independently
  • Pass a vision acuity exam for both near & far vision, along with the ability to distinguish and differentiate between colors
  • We prefer experience in a manufacturing environment and industrial safety programs.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $20 per hour.
