About the role:

As a Project Management intern, you will work with experienced Project Managers and department teams to help manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and reporting tools.

 

You will report to the HQ Project Management & Support Senior Manager and be located at our Madison facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HQPM staff with project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking activities
  • Help prepare project health reports, performance dashboards, risk register, project execution plan, cost estimate workbook, project charter, ICN, CCN, Healthy Start and Power BI visualizations for portfolio reviews
  • Update SAP project data (milestones, resource allocations, and cost structures)
  • Help monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
  • Analyze funding of Management and Contingency reserves among the Projects (over $1M) of AOMS sub-segments and report out on monthly basis
  • Contribute to document control, procedure compliance, and internal audit readiness

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business administration, finance, or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • Interest in the nuclear energy industry and learning complex project execution processes
  • Exposure to Power BI, MS Project, or SAP
  • No relocation assistance provided

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
