Join our team as a day shift, PRN, Echocardiography Lab Clinical Intern in Amarillo, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic
  • Technologist.
  • In addition, to positioning patients' radiographic exams, the aide is also responsible for preparing
  • exam rooms, equipment, supplies and contrast medications. Must possess outstanding customer service skills.
  • Must flex to accommodate volumes.
  • When Radiology student clinical intern is on site and working as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging
  • Department.
  • The Radiology clinical intern must not make any radiation exposures in accordance with the Texas Board
  • of Medical Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in Amarillo College Radiography Program.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
