About the Role

This role will support our Supply Chain team and help PAR deliver premier products/solutions that are unparalleled in our industry. From supplier management to data analysis, the work you do will promote our ability to deliver results for clients and customers around the world. 

Success Criteria: 

As a continuous learner, you will be tasked with getting up to speed on our existing projects and work closely with our Supply Chain team to assist in managing our supplier base and developing increased capability to understand our supplier landscape. This role requires the application of theoretical principles and creative/analytical techniques typically acquired in a recognized four-year or longer academic program. Applying what you learned in coursework with the collaborative power of our team will also give you learning and development opportunities on the job.

Using your communication, analytical and reporting skills, your support of our supplier management processes will elevate our team performance and give you excellent career scope and experience!   During this internship, emphasis on specific areas may shift as company priorities change. Some examples of the work you will do include:

  • Developing supplier profiles
  • Evaluating supplier spend
  • Working supplier compliance projects
  • Provide analysis and support
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

Our starting rate of pay for this hourly position is targeted at $22.00 per hour and is eligible to receive overtime pay based on federal, state and local wage and hour laws.  

 

Qualifications
  • Junior or rising Senior in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Finance preferred)
  • Excellent MS Office 365 skills 
  • Familiarity with ERP and business intelligence systems 
  • Relevant experience/academic project-based course work
