The Marzetti Summer Internship Program is perfect for ambitious students looking to gain hands-on experience that will build more than just your resume – it will expand your career possibilities after graduation. Our Internship Program is designed to provide students with unique experiences tailored to their field of interest while also providing valuable insight into other key areas of the business.
Marzetti is looking for an Intern to join the Human Resources Team in the summer of 2026! Over the course of our 12-week program, Interns take ownership of meaningful business projects, develop relationships with each other and with their teams, and share innovative ideas to support company growth. During the summer, we also nourish the personal and professional growth of our Interns through social activities, volunteer opportunities, and development sessions with company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training materials to a variety of learners across various leadership competencies.
- Lead and/or support talent management activities including performance management, development planning, and talent review processes.
- Collaborate with Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders to support initiatives, events, and programs aimed at promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Partner with business leaders on employee listening efforts, including targeted pulse surveys.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Previous HR or internship experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills demonstrated through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Action-oriented with sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution
- Resourceful, adaptable, and effective in navigating change and influencing others
- Works effectively both independently and in team settings
