Be part of a team that is shaping the future of learning and delivering the next-best skills for RBC employee career journeys.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do? </b></p><ul><li><p>Analyze data from various sources, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights using analytics tools</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using appropriate tools and techniques</p></li><li><p>Extract data from various sources and perform necessary data cleaning and transformation</p></li><li><p>Translate insights and findings into clear and concise reports & stories for diverse audiences, including senior leadership, to help communicate the team's success, overall key result progress and efficiency</p></li><li><p>Ensure that project activities are accomplished within approved time frames and scope.</p></li><li><p>Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to various projects</p></li><li><p>Utilize the latest technologies available, designing and building data solutions to meet business needs</p></li><li><p>Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational status</p></li><li><p>Constantly seek out better ways to do things, new tools, new technologies, new processes</p></li><li><p>Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs</p></li><li><p>Use business domain knowledge to independently lead the analytics process to identify valuable and innovative insights</p></li><li><p>Promote analytics across the team to enable Learning team to become a data-driven function</p></li><li><p>Support broader Learning Enablement team on other initiatives (e.g., audit checks, QA testing, research best practices and methodologies, learning development)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What do you need to succeed? </b></p><p><b>Must-have </b></p><ul><li><p>Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)</p></li><li><p>Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment</p></li><li><p>Experience or understanding of tools like SQL/VBA, Excel, and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)</p></li><li><p>Ability to data extract, transform, and load processes with a variety of data types</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data and present findings to stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting</p></li><li><p>Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Nice-to-have </b></p><ul><li><p>Programming skills in one or more languages is an asset (ex.
