General Summary:

This project will explore a methodology for constructing end-to-end channel models to support statistical analysis of high-speed serial links. The work will involve applying design of experiments (DOE) techniques to study the impact of key variables such as trace and dielectric geometry on link performance. Based on this, the intern will construct corner models of individual channel components and then evaluate whether the resulting model combinations reliably capture worst-case channel behavior. The aim is to move beyond nominal-case channel models and establish a methodology that enables fully statistical channel modeling, addressing a key gap in current link analysis practice.
