Position Overview
As a Data Science Intern, you will work on ground breaking artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives that enhance product development and optimization. This role is ideal for someone motivated to learn, contribute to real-world projects, and grow in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and apply AI and ML solutions to support product development, validation, and optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify domain challenges and develop advanced data analysis methods.
- Know the latest with emerging data science techniques and apply them to solve complex problems.
- Engage in mentorship and learning opportunities with industry experts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistics, regression analysis, and deep learning through coursework.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or R.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and deploying data science solutions, including data engineering, ML algorithms, UI/UX, and ML Ops.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and performance evaluation.
- Understanding of agentic AI systems for autonomous workflows and task orchestration.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$46.51 - $55.82 an hourAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
