Your Role

The central R&D organization „Design Enabling and Services“ (DES) provides the design environments (design-systems) to the different product development teams at Infineon. With leading edge design methods, complex building blocks and a wide range of product development services DES enables Infineon's advanced IC development. This means the complete value creation chain from abstract system models down to the fully verified product layout which ensures high quality manufacturing readiness.

Key responsibilities in your new role:

In your new role you will:

• Artificial Intelligence: Contribute to our AI-powered agent development and conversation interface
• Software Development: Design, develop, and integrate an AI-powered agent that assists users of our software in real-time, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support
• User Experience: Focus on improving user experience and usability by creating an intuitive conversation interface
• Quality Assurance: Verify the offered functionality of the agent and check for possible automated testing

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student (f/m/div) from the field of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Technical Skills: Good knowledge in Python, C++ or JavaScript, interest in NLP, machine learning or deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), excellent skills in VSCode and GitHub Copilot, very good knowledge in MCP server creation for existing tooling
• Organizational Skills: A self-motivated and curious working style with good communication skills and the ability of working effectively across other departments
• Language Skills: Good English skills, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
