About the Role
<p>EU Public Affairs Traineeship</p><p>Working For: Hanbury Strategy</p><p>Location: Tribes, 13-17 Avenue Marnix, 1000 Brussels, Belgium</p><p>To start: February 2026&nbsp;</p><p>Salary: €1300 gross per month, plus 13 days vacation, and travel and lunch benefits</p><p><strong>What is on offer</strong></p><p>•&nbsp;A 6-month long paid traineeship with our EU Public Affairs team.</p><p>•&nbsp;You will have the opportunity to work directly on client projects and learn from the most senior and experienced people in the business.</p><p>•&nbsp;You will be fully involved in our company culture and have access to numerous development and training initiatives and social activities.</p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>•&nbsp;You will research policy and political developments across Europe, dealing with what happens in the EU institutions and the impact of legislation and regulation on some of the largest companies in the world.</p><p>•&nbsp;You will work on some of the most defining events in European policymaking and politics.</p><p>•&nbsp;The successful candidate will work across several policy areas including technology regulation and financial services, supporting clients in the areas of platform regulation, AI, industrial policy, banking, capital markets, and sustainable finance. </p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><p>•&nbsp;Have a passion for European affairs and politics.</p><p>•&nbsp;Have a desire to learn new things.</p><p>•&nbsp;Have the ability to work well within teams.</p><p>•&nbsp;Speak and write in fluent English (as our main language of doing business).
