You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and researchers to bring <strong>proof-of-concept technologies</strong> to real-world solutions. We are seeking several interns for this 12-week internship program, which will be conducted <strong>onsite</strong> in Arlington, VA.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in cutting-edge research, and be encouraged to publish results&nbsp;</li> <li>Build deployable and scalable systems that solve real-world problems&nbsp;</li> <li>Present a project at the end of the internship demonstrating your work and findings</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Actively pursuing a degree in <strong>Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering</strong>, or a related field</li> <li>Familiarity with at least one of the following:</li> <ul> <li><strong>Modern development languages</strong> such as <strong>Python, C, C++, or Embedded C</strong></li> <li>Understanding of <strong>operating systems internals</strong> (e.g., privilege/user groups, binary memory layout)</li> <li><strong>Software-hardware interfaces</strong> and embedded system development</li> <li><strong>Version control and automation</strong> tools such as <strong>GitLab</strong></li> </ul> <li>Strong communication skills and a willingness to contribute to a <strong>collaborative team environment</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in a challenging R&amp;D environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Publications or patents of prior intellectual contributions&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>memory management</strong> (heap, stack, virtual memory, MMU)</li> <li>Experience with <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and <strong>testing</strong> in virtual machine environments</li> <li>Basic knowledge of <strong>firmware</strong> or <strong>driver development</strong> across <strong>Linux</strong> and <strong>Windows</strong></li> <li>Exposure to <strong>reverse engineering</strong> x86/ARM binaries or malware analysis</li> <li>Interest in <strong>security applications</strong> involving embedded systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Clearance/Citizenship:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship is required</li> <li>Candidate must have eligibility to obtain a government security clearance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The projected pay range listed for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of rate.</p></div><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$20</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$40 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div class="iCIMS_PageFooter"> <div class="gmail_default"> <p>Looking for other great opportunities?
