POSITION INFO:
16-month training program that is broke out into two phases -
The first phase of the trainee program will go through a comprehensive four-month training program in which Trainees will learn NIBCO products, customers, manufacturing, and distribution methods.
The second phase of the program will include a 12-month rotation supporting the Human Resources department. The rotation will include specific areas, including Talent Acquisition, Associate Relations, Training and Development, Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, Engagement, and Compliance, to receive a well-rounded foundation. This phase will last a minimum of 12 months. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be assigned to a specific Human Resources role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in structured training program.
• Visit NIBCO manufacturing locations and give presentations on what was learned during these visits.
• Spend time job shadowing associates experienced in specific Human Resources areas.
• Give final presentations and complete a final test drawing upon the lessons, knowledge, and skills learned.
EXPERIENCE:
0 – 2 years of academic – internship – work experience in Human Resources.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
