We are seeking an HR Systems Analyst Student for our North American Headquarters district in Edmonton, Alberta, who is available for 4-8 months starting in May 2026.

As an HR Systems Analyst Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Providing robust, customer-centric support to all system users.
  • Responding to service requests, troubleshooting incidents, and investigating problems.
  • Assisting with creating or updating processes, training, and system documentation.
  • Delivering web-based training to end users.
  • Developing and delivering stakeholder communications and assisting with documenting requirements for new systems.
  • Assisting with creating or updating use cases that support requirements analysis, functional designs, user acceptance testing, and training material.
  • Participating in pilots and rollouts and assisting with system configuration and testing.
  • Coordinating with subject matter experts for requirements refinement and user acceptance testing.
  • Liaising with business, technology, and support teams to ensure systems meet business requirements.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant program (e.g., Business Systems Analysis, Business Technology Management, Information Systems, or another related discipline).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and processes is a plus.

Assets: 

  • Familiarity with HR systems.
  • User support experience.
  • Experience delivering training.
  • Technical writing experience.
