Key Responsibilities

Role Overview

Are you interested in the built environment but not quite sure which career path might suit you? Our one‑week paid work experience placement is a great way to explore three key areas of our industry — Project Management , Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying.

During your week with us, you’ll get a real insight into what these roles involve, meet people at different stages of their careers, and discover how buildings and projects come to life. This experience is designed to help you build confidence, learn new skills, and start thinking about your future in the built environment.

Support Throughout Your Week

From the moment you join us, you’ll have two people supporting you:

Mentor

A senior colleague who will guide you, help you reflect on what you're learning, and answer your bigger‑picture questions about working in the industry.

Buddy

Someone early in their career who’ll be there day‑to‑day to help you settle in, show you around, and make sure you have everything you need.

When Is the Placement?

Your one‑week placement will take place during February.
