Role Overview

As the Construction Project Coordinator Intern, you’ll have a big mission. Responsible for assuring the Company’s standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what’ was done here at BH!

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicates with Project Managers, vendors, etc, on questions and concerns affecting capital projects and follows procedures relevant to Construction Management and Accounting.
  • Liaison for EXO team
  • Process Capital Request Forms and associated documentation through the contract workflow process. This includes assisting with submission of Construction vendors through the vendor queue; including verification of correct documentation.
  • Review construction invoices submitted by all parties, verifies accuracy, completeness, job coding, and percent complete. Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies prior to submitting to Accountant for approval. Follows up on delayed or missing invoices. Support with processing invoices related to property renovations through accounting workflow.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

You Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in use of a personal computer and software programs such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality to maintain accuracy on reports, lists and pricing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, multi-task prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people and customers.
