Description: The SSD Failure Analysis Technician internship program aims to provide students with hands-on experience in the cutting-edge field of solid-state drive (SSD) technology. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts, contributing to the development and enhancement of next-generation SSDs. Scope: In this project, the student will learn Fault Isolation and Data Analysis to provide insights into potential causes and corrective actions Microcontroller and Peripherals, NAND Technology, Storage Interface Protocols (NVME and PCIe), Storage Security Various lab equipment usage, including optical microscopes, thermal imaging systems, bench analysis to understand failure modes and mechanisms. Firmware development and debugging tools (e.g., Python, Linux) Deliverable: To identify, analyze, design, improve SSD failure analysis or data analysis process.
