YOUR ROLE 

 

Within our Container Logistics department based at the headquarters in Marseille, you will implement daily actions necessary to rebalance the stocks of empty dry containers according to the needs of the assigned geographical area.  

  

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Analyze container needs in relation to commercial services and agents.  

  • In collaboration with the operational services of the Lines, agents, and regional offices, ensure the evacuation or replenishment of containers to achieve the optimal stock level.  

  • Also ensure the availability of different types of containers (empty, immobile) and optimize the filling of ships with empty containers in collaboration with the Lines.  

  • Conduct studies, reports, and statistics.  

  • Support the team in daily tasks by setting up logistics indicators/KPIs for the region.  

  • Participate in reducing container logistics costs, analyze logistics situations, and propose the best cost-effective solutions.  

  

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • You are in the second year of a Master's program with a specialization in Transport and Logistics. 

  • You are bilingual in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. 

  • You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, logic, and a good capacity for adaptation. 

  • You have a team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
