About the role:

As an Electrical Testing Intern you will report to the Measurement & Analysis Lead and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a part-time and paid internship from February 2026 (6 months), with the possibility to receive course credit.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a mentor to develop theory and practice to obtain a useful tool (Excel, Technical note, software, or white paper) to be presented at conferences on the following topic/ work study areas:
    • Aging model for Rotating Machines and Power Transformers to determine remaining life
    • Application of FDS testing to Rotating Machines
    • VLF Tan Delta testing on cables from MCC. EPRI application for motors/transformers
    • List/inventory of equipment, accessories, and materials in the Electrical Testing Area
    • DP Pattern Tables in rotating machines: cases and interferences
    • TDR fault simulations in cables
    • Thermal correction factor in Indenter tests (cables)
    • Technical note on screen resistance and sheath evaluation in cables
    • Generation of physical standards for field testing equipment

 

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Proficient in Spanish & English
