Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
The Vehicle Production Engineering (VPE) Division supports the introduction of new vehicle models into Toyota’s European manufacturing plants.Within VPE, the Body Assembly Department leads development activities such as:
- New vehicle planning
- Design for manufacture
- Production line set-up
- Introduction of tooling and equipment for mass production
Your project
- Body-in-white sub-assembly process design in Siemens Process Simulate
- Define the process operations, line concept, placement of robots and jigs, tool selection and geometry datum structure.
- Macro and VBA code creation for data management and processing.
Your Profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Interest in vehicle manufacturing and industrial robot simulation.
- Skill in Catia V5, AutoCAD and Process Simulate Robotics or similar.
- MS Office, especially Excel (with VBA) and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage technical data effectively, including 3D drawings and documentation.
- Full proficiency in English, with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
