Are you detail-driven, curious, and eager to learn how the logistics industry operates behind the scenes? Join our Carrier Compliance Team at KCH Transportation as an intern and gain hands-on experience in compliance, risk assessment, and transportation operations - all in a fast-paced, real-world environment.


As a Carrier Compliance Intern, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our carrier partners meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop analytical skills, work cross-functionally, and make a real impact on day-to-day operations while building a strong foundation for a career in supply chain, compliance, or risk management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the onboarding of new carriers by reviewing submitted documentation and verifying compliance with requirements 
  • Perform preliminary audits on carrier profiles to identify potential compliance issues and escalate as necessary 
  • Support the review and processing of override requests based on risk criteria and business justification 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records in the TMS 
  • Collaborate with Operations and Risk Management teams to resolve compliance-related issues in a timely manner 
  • Track and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Education/Experience:  

  • Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Risk Management, or a related field 
  • Comfortable working in a structured, detail-oriented environment 
  • Prior office experience or familiarity with compliance, auditing, or logistics systems is a plus
